Really, I hope this is the last time. This past summer (2011) I finally decided that everything had been properly pre-assembled well enough, that I could put the final coats of DP-90 primer on all the bits and pieces. Damn, there are a lot of bits and pieces! Individually painting all of them was more work than I expected, and took a lot longer than I’d hoped, but here we go:

Hello world!
September 24, 2010This is my first post. I have no idea what I am doing, yet. My intention is to keep my friends posted on the progress of the restoration of this 1963 Elva Courier Mk3 from basketcase condition to a vintage racer. Please let me know if anything looks amiss, because I am constantly making changes.
My name is Andy Rich. I’m an engineer who is building a vintage race car, actually rebuilding one, which happens to have been built in the same year I was born — 1963. Coincidentally, this car is chassis number 1063. I have been a British car restoration specialist for about 20+ years, but this is the most extensive project I have ever done.
