It Looks Broken

At the time, my assessment of what was there, and what was needed involved putting all the pieces together into what looked like a “whole” car.  My then eight-year-old daughter looked at the pieces propped up together and said simply, “It looks broken”.  I can’t fool her, she was right.

Anyway, I started by stripping the layers of paint off, dark metallic blue, medium blue, red, and at the bottom of it all, British racing green.  Then, I could see all the previous damage to the fiberglass, and the piss-poor repair jobs that had been done over the years.  Did you know that bondo and chicken wire can be used to fix fiberglass?  Who knew?
